Congressional Art Competition

Each spring the United States House of Representatives sponsors an art competition for high school students.  The winning entry from Maryland's Eighth Congressional District will be displayed in the United States Capitol alongside artwork from every congressional district across the country.  Congressman Van Hollen will host an Awards Ceremony and Reception at The Mansion at Strathmore on Monday, May 5, 2008 to honor all participants.  All high school students who reside in or attend school in the Eighth Congressional District are encouraged to participate.
